Enjoy this holiday season with a heart-warming holiday performance at your local school, community center or concert hall. Take the family or plan a special couple’s night out to enjoy holiday classics like “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Let It Snow,” “Silent Night,” and many others. Discover all the concert options in your community. For larger statewide concert dates and locations, also check out and purchase online Wisconsin concert tickets.
If you have a holiday tradition of driving around and looking at all the beautiful lights and decorations, you might also like visiting or driving by some of Wisconsin’s large light displays. Most light displays open after Thanksgiving and run until New Year’s Eve, but check out each area’s website for specific days, hours and other features. The largest display is the Country Christmas Light Show in Waukesha. Some other large displays can be viewed at the Rotary Holiday Lights in La Crosse, the Oshkosh Celebration of Lights, the Garden of Lights at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens, the Janesville Rotary Botanical Gardens Holiday Light Show, and last but not least is the Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival.
Some other fun winter activities to investigate are cross country skiing, tubing, snow boarding, downhill skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing.
We hope these ideas and links give you and your family some fun and entertaining activities this winter as you explore Wisconsin’s beautiful countryside, things to do, and cultural events.
